Why we exist

I built Strip the Grips to create what I couldn’t find: BJJ apparel I’d actually want to wear.

Not clichés. Not skulls. But something that represents our community off the mat — with style that’s bold, minimal, and built different.

Our mission is to celebrate the core of Jiu Jitsu:

• Creative. Jiu Jitsu is an art, an expression of who you are. Our designs reflect that individuality.
• Playful. The sport is about experimenting, making mistakes, and learning. We bring that same energy to our gear.
• Tough. BJJ is gritty, hard, and sometimes painful. Our apparel is built to reflect that toughness.

Strip the Grips is for practitioners who want to celebrate their sport without shouting about it.
